I always use the DSLR HD 720@50fps template with all my projects and the use the above for rendering out. I get good results but not fantastic but rendering out this way stops youtube and vimeo killing your quality.
3 mins of footage would equate to around 280-320mb (file size).
Hope that helps.

Edit: I have never got 60fps out of my gopro, 50fps seems the norm and this fits my editing and export profiles.
what software are you using to edit your videos ? I use Vegas

Saturday is fine for me.
Gutted, wish I was around to meet up in this nice weather, instead I've got a flight to catch at 3am! Rubbish!

Must try and use it. Just looks so complicated. Never get enough time to really play with it.

Downloaded the free trail of the Muvee software that's being advertised on this forum

Here is a 1min clip from the FPV meet 2011, think it did a good job. Just add the clip and title and it does the rest including adding music. Tempted on the full version!

mmm looks interesting... did you go to a lot of setups to render the video so it is internet friendly?

No it was really dead simple, select the video you want, select the style add in a title and push go, it does everything for you.. Def worth downloading the free trial version, it gives you 15 days free but you are limited to 1 min of video you can save although it will render the whole length for you to preview.

I've also just emailed them because a banner keeps popping up on RCgroups saying 30% off but when you click thou there is no discount applied.

Wow. There's an expensive software setup. I was looking at after effects for my mac. A single user licence is 1000!

too much gumph in the write up. I cant take it all in ...I don't get where where is the amazingbility factor yet... I gather there are loads of channels and that you can transmit in 2.4GHz 5.8GHz and 900mhz ? that doesn't sound too good to me . but apparently there is a serious FPV application for it but I don't know how.
is that a plug in screen/module for FPV in the front of this control ? how many thumbs are you going to need to drive this bad boy?
Sounds awesome and the price looks reasonable but it would serve them well to have a small video explaining why this is the best thing since sliced bread to appear in the RC market. there is a lot to read and little time to do so.

well, for me, the 'awesome' is in the word Open itself, but I guess for many end users this means nothing of substance, so I get your point...

yes, they could use a video about it, for sure!
