The dihedral function of dihedral box in the A-Justo-Jig - which also serves to join the two 3 foot panels - is fine but you can also use a digital 'inclinemeter' which has been used by woodworkers for about a decade.

Here is a link to one I've had that time - a Beall Tilt Box -
http://www.bealltool.com/products/measuring/tiltbox.php

This one has magnets along two edges so the instrument will lock onto to the two panel pipe supports in the A-Justo-Jig. It can be zero'd to 0 degrees on any surface so the base on which the A-Justo-Jig doesn't have to be 0 degrees to the horizon.

I've seen similar digital inclinemeters pop up on popular wing/thrust/stab incidence meters, replacing the bubble level/pendulum meter.

good luck,

Michael

Since my bench top is flat (+/- .020") I just zero the inclinemeter to the bench and set each panel to the desired dihedral angle, cinch it down and it stays put. Works fine.

twalther, I have a "wing" jig that I would sell. Everything is good
(no broken parts) that I'd like $80 + shp. for.

Rib hole Marker

I was recently given a A-Justo wing jig and want to use it to construct a plane but after doing some research on the web, I discovered that I'm missing the plastic part(s) that is used to locate the rod holes in the wood ribs. If anyone has this and would be willing to make me a copy on poster board, then I could construct one out of plastic. If you can do this, then I'll send mailing address information.

Thanks

I believe this is the replacement item posted earlier in this thread

Hopefully it's self-explanatory since it's not mine originally.
