Ok. It was a question I thought was a 1 reply answer; I thought you had an experienced view with hot wire bows since you build so many models and some bows are later reported as "aweful" in their comments on the builds.This request turned out to be far more than anticipated. Thanks for the information and I leave this thread to it's OP.

Here is how I cover the holes on the fuselage

1. I smooth over the holes with a dremel
2. I add clear packing tape over the holes
3 then I add the tough plastic outer membrane to the fuse

Hi Mesnick. .. & thankyou for the compliments!

No the plastic membrane dosn't have any adhesive I simply tape it into place wich makes it easy to remove to conduct repairs.

Now I'm priming the two 145 Fuselage tubes before adding the white gloss coat.

Do you have to rough up that poster board before painting? What type of rattle can paint do you use? Sorry for all the questions but I really think I want to embark on a build like this I want to have all my questions answered first so I dont get stuck.That is some beutiful work you are doing.

Hi Jim! You wanna first prep the plastic cover with white plastic primer then I go over ot with gloss white paint, then I add a clear coat over that.

Use a white primer made for plastic & I use testors gloss white paint.
