Is there a reason why the US website http://www.openhobby.com cannot be accessed from Europe?

on (closed fixed switch) or off (open fixed
switch) or they can provide a fixed input signal for a
control function, e.g. FXI = +100% and FX = -100%.
For example, in flight phase programming, these fixed
switches can be used to switch a servo or speed
controller between two settings."

I couldn't think right off how one would use them.
I am still at a loss to understand just what the purpose of these are. Anybody have an explanation?

It has been a few weeks. Were you able to get this module to work?

If you still don't have one in stock to play with I would consider sending mine to you.

I was using my general flight module today for the first time. A couple of questions. A)the RX temp alarm went off telling me the RX was at 158deg F. What is the amount of heat can the ex take? It was sitting in the sun under a big clear canopy. Once I started flying the RX cooled off and no more warning.
(b) at idle the rpm was way off. The telemetry was telling me 3200 but my friends hand held tach was saying 1700 rpm. At full throttle it was only off by maybe 100rpm's. Maybe I just need to get it in a better spot? It's mounted in the motor box facing thru the cooling holein the cowl.
Thanks,
Frank

Dear Graupner USA,

it is something strange on the Graupner official website concerning HOTT files versions numbers: if you look at the german language page some files version numbers are not the same compared to the English language page.

Examples:
MZ-12 : V1.054 vs V1.053
GR-12S: V3a57 vs V3a55
GR-12 : V3a67 vs V3a65
GR-16: V6a37 vs V6a35
GR-24: V3a78 vs V3a76

Some Brushless ESCS on the german page are at V1a41 vs V1a34 ...

Some other file versions match ???

Can you clarify ? Thanks in advance

Frank, you will have to experiment a bit with the sensor location to get accurate readings. The RX can handle quite a bit but temperature can creep up very fast when the model sits under a direct sun without airflow.

We here in the US are not handling the German website. My recommendation is to use the firmware upgrade studio to automatically download and update the firmware. If you decide to update manually then your best bet is to get the firmware from the OH or German website.

A couple of questions!

1. Do the Graupner/SJ Transmitters use lithium 'watch batteries' (2032 size typical) to keep memory alive?

2. Can I order stiffer stick tension springs for my MZ-24? If so, please provide a link to you on-line shop entry. Is the swap procedure straightforward for owners to carry out? I have changed springs on other transmitters.

HoTT General air module 2-6S Vario

Hi all,
Is there a trick to getting the General Air Module 2-6S Vario to work with a GR-12L Receiver? I'm connecting the Air Module to channel 5 on the receiver, but I'm not showing the air module telemetry on my MZ24.

Thanks
