All the SC2 (Southern California Soaring Clubs) monthly contests are sanctioned. There will be 11 contests by the end of the season.

We fly open class, 2m, RES, and RES Woody and open and production foamy ALES classes in precision duration TD contests.

I simply thought it might be a fun thread to see how many people fly different disciplines... and what disciplines they fly.

I've flown only one event so far this year for several of these classes. For one of the classes, I "temporarily purchased" the plane to use in the comp... Far and away, the majority of my flying this year has been F3K.

good to hear from you Bob... and if I ever get to Seattle ( or you get to the Boston area), maybe we can fly some relaxing flights together.

I will lock up my competitive spirit in the glove box.

on topic, my son Nick (13 years old), flew an ALES and a hand launch contest this year
