I picked up on a nice set of woven bumpers on Ebay, from a small crafter somewhere in the U.K. Front and rear bumpers as well as 6 side fenders. Dipped them in alcohol with black shoe dye added, so they're a gray color now, and should look pretty good. They came with chains, but I think I'll replace the chain with some heavy twine, also dyed, and once in place, drip some thin C.A. on them in hopes that it will preserve them to some degree!?

Need to get her ballasted so she rides correctly on the waterline, then we're off to the backyard pool!!

hey I like it what did you use for portholes? I would like to get a set of those bumpers as well but for mine they will have to be roughed up a bit

Hiya. hazegry!!

The portholes are from a hobby shop in the U.K. and are machined brass, with clear vinyl
"glazing"! I think I found them at "Croppers Models"!!?? Pretty cheap, too! The flanges are drilled, as for bolt holes, too Pretty sweet parts!!
