Cant make anything from the cad file :-(
Can you upload it in dwg or dxf

Conversion of formats sometimes works, but I'm not having much luck at it with this project. I'll work some more on it.

The best I can do for another version is an STL file. I'll try to figure out a way to get to DXF. All my attempts so far either fail, or butcher the part. I made these STL files in four parts so it will be easier to work with. Should look like the Jpegs, when assembled.
I'll keep working on the tabbed parts.

Continued gluing the fans in place. Need to route the servo wires, then I can glue the fuselage halves together.

Decided to inlay the servo wire to the inside of the duct. Think I will tie it in with thread, and glue to keep it from coming loose.

That looks very nice RR! Not much room in there for wiring! Small models are tough!

Yes, I keep thinking I should not build anything small, but go ahead and do it anyway.

Got the electronics completed. Taped it together to do some test glides. I think it is ok on the CG. Was easy to throw into a glide. Might have been a little nose heavy, but not sure since I stopped after the second try. Hit the leg of the workbench. Scrunched the nose a little. Think I can get it straight, without having to make a new nose.

i kept breaking the nose on my last F-22, make sure when you put it in your car to set it on the floor .

Might have to take you up on the paint help, you do nice work. I have an airbrush. I do ok on most painting, but need some practice on painting fine details.
The nose repair came out decent. After the fiberglass is on it, it should be hard to notice.
Glued the fuselage halves together tonight. Waiting for glue to dry. Weight is at 92 grams so far, (all parts including lipo).

I could even give you my last f22 airframe im not using it any more its pretty beat up but gives you the idea how i did it.
Im using the cheap hobbyking paintbrush it does good work but im looking forward to the day i can get a badger

My airbrush is a Badger. Its good, have a little trouble getting a very fine spray. But usually I have sprayed acrylics with it, so not the best paint for that. It does work better than the cheapo plastic one I had before it.

I got the fiberglass finished. Started on filler, Probably mixed it to thin. So likely will need another coat. I'll see when it dries.

Not pink anymore. Maybe a second coat, and I can work on the details.
