Fine and dandy. He went up for a couple of flights day-before-yesterday. No video, though.

It doesn't matter if the plane is overpowered , power can often get you out of trouble , It is up to the pilot not to open the throttle right up. I did it with mine last week , it went vertical, but it just didn't feel or look right, so she flies around just above tick over

ps, I am looking for a suitable pilot, not had one here since Yoda parachuted out the back of the twins and flew away into the wood never to be seen again........ My granddaughter is still searching the house for her favourite toy

I have a pilot out of a PZ Albatros sitting in my Moth. It's close to the right size and time period with the scarf in the wind but it's not glued in yet as the plane is already tail-heavy and the pilot sits behind the CG

Regarding Chen's suggestion of buying parts for the Tiger Moth 400 from Caliber hobbies--great idea. I have been doing that with Pico moths for years and for experience modelers, all you really need are the fuselage parts, the wings and tail group and cowl. Everything else can be of your own makings.

Thanks Chen.

Well, like the TM 400 kit I found some GWS floats here on RCGroups. Unfortunately I have had a very bad cold for the past few weeks and haven't done anything with them.
Hoping to feel well enough to get them installed and make a flight soon.

Gary

Hippy Horse flys again
I had my 400 out. I'm really liking this power prop combo.
The ST 10 and APC 11 3 8 prop ke edge and death slides are a thing of beauty
