Current draw ??

Does anyone know where you can find out specs on current draw capability for various cells. I'm mainly interested in NiMH cells in a pak for S280, s300 or Speed 400 motors. I have found from experince that a 280 ma NiMH pak will not do at all for a speed 280 motor. The first few seconds are OK, but beyond that there is no "poop" left even though the voltage is still up-internal resistance must be too high and it just cant push out the current.

In general, and this is really a rough guess, NiCd's tend to be good for 20C (20 x capacity) - that is, 20-30 x capacity. Good NiCd's will work fine @ 30C and above (2400's pushed to 100A for F5B, for example). NiMH on the other hand is usually only good up to 10C, and less is better for them.

So my 800ar packs are good for .8x30 24 amps?

or is it 8x30? 240 amps? hehe

Yeh, I guess the first figure sounds more like it, However, I need my 800ar 's to do a burst of up to 60 amps, I think they'll work.
