I'll add that the bell on both of the hobby king ef-1 motors I own will not stay secured to the shaft. The single grub screw isn't sufficient. If you start to notice a drop in speed or odd noises on takeoff check this first.

Thanks for the heads up, i'll keep an eye on that.

I wonder if some green loctite on it might help, this stuff easily holds the one way bearing on helis that produce over 5000W so it should work.

Green will do the job of holding it (provided you give it time to cure). It needs a lot of heat if you ever want to remove the fitting.

Compared to airframes in this class with open balsa construction it's pretty stiff. On the course it's pretty common to see a Scarlet Screamer/Outrageous flex their wings when the pilot yanks a turn. The Invictus wing doesn't even flinch at speeds the airframe is designed for.

Enough G's will snap it however.
