I think the nice thing that is happening is that companies like Horison are getting back on there game! The new corsair ( give or take a few inches 65/66" span ) is a gem of a looking scale plane.
So if they keep popping out these type planes in wood frames my budget will go to them.
I have many of the epo formats but mainly because there was not much in scale in the 1700 size outside of FMS . Now with some new offerings I am hoping they ( Horison ) see the light and release a new P40

Balsa and Ply just fly better. I also pick up the Hanger 9 F4U and it's really impressive,

He's using FMS Corsair landing gear/retracts which have a straight leg/strut.

Mike did you take delivery on the Corsair yet ? Would love you get your opinion and are you posting pics in any threads ?

I've had it for over a month along with everything needed for assembly and my first impressions are it's a quality product. I had a few items in front of it and will hopefully get started sometime this week. I'll do a assembly thread and shoot you a PM with the link.

Hi

Yes I had too change some things in order to get this work.
But in the end I'm very happy with this setup, got many flight with it without any problems
