New Basher BZ-444

Did anyone else see that basher bz-444 on hobbykings facebook?

It looks like a 1/10 scale version of the bz-888 and I really want one.

Yeah, I have noticed the new BZ-444 in spare part section and their facebook post.
So far so good. Hopefully it wont have any belts, not that there is anything wrong with belts but hobbyking belts weren't any good on BZ-222.
Can't wait for the release, surely gonna get that in ARR if available.

Agreed but if its an inbetween car to bridge the BZ-222 and BZ-888 it should be 1/10 4wd with casher components.
If it is Im buying one early.

Yeah I saw that and it certainly lives up to its name as its got plenty of metal components and an aluminium chassis(though we dont know the thickness of the metal or how well it has been heat treated).

While I appreciate its a racer I dont like the belt drive system as I imagine the cheapo hobbyking belt would just break off road.
Also this is just an on-road car as it has no slipper clutch or centre diff.

Yes and hobbyking sell it as an off road enable car, but when i see the platform i think : "outch, not a lot of protection for these belts and gears". It is a copy of a on road car and this chassis didn't been sold as off road by the original brand, xray T3.

Me too, i m not fan of belt drive train. But the blelt provide on this car doesn't seem very weak and is expensive (more than 20$ for the main belt, central) and not an optinal part in spares parts list.

But as it is an xray copy, this wake up my interest.

Yeah lol I mean I did assume it was a rebadged version of something else but at the same time that they had done something to make it off road okay. There is some ground clearance and a metal chassis but all together not good enough.
OMG so expensive for a tiny belt should really be about $10 unless its actually ridiculously strong material and we are just assuming it to be crap.

If the basher bz-444 does get released with this same chassis or a belt drive like this one I certainly wont buy it. Very tempted with the H.King Sand Storm its an ok price but if I can get it in the sale I would be super happy.

Yes, like the 2wd sct v2 kit, ultima sc copy who is design for a 35mm ground clearance and Turnigy transform it to more than 50mm who made issue with dog bone, but we can easily shorten them and it is ok. The diff drive cup and wheel axle cup is an issue also for me, wear out really too fast. But you have the choice, buy a lot of of this spares for ridiculous price and waste a lot of steel ^^ or buy normal prices HPI spares and keep it 10x time longer. But for the other parts sct hasn't to envy ultima sc. It is cheap and it worst the price, no miracle and as the ultima sc is now discontinued but a good car it is not too bad.

I wait review of first RZ buyer to see if it a crap or not. Aluminum chassis aspect don't convince me for the moment. I will maybe try RZ spring steel diif drive cup, it seem that it can fit on the sct diff ^^.

Sand storm is too small for me ^^. I prefer car who are race enable even if i don't race for the moment ^^, but the car i most use are racing car (old or less old ^^).
