That is a very cool paint job! Do you recall what wing bag you used with it? Those extra points/fillets on the wings makes it a bit tricky to find the right bag for it.

I bought the medium Redwing bag they recommend, but it's way too long. With the wings in it you can fold over a third of the bag. I'd like to find a better fit.

On the 30cc MXSR there is a hatch on the bottom of the fuselage behind the landing gear that came from the factory held on with just a couple of pieces of tape.

What is the hatch for, and how is it supposed to be attached?

Hatch is for those that choose to use canister exhaust.
There are 4 small screws to attach it at the corners.

I'm not at home right now so I can't check, do you get to them on the inside or outside of the fuselage? I don't recall seeing any holes in the covering.

From the outside. You'll have to pierce the covering yourself. If you look at the inside of the hatch cover, you'll see the small corner holes in the plywood that will be used.

I asked @ Redwing what that hatch is for and Craig responded with:

" Its an optional hatch for an alternative battery location. You can close it up with small servo screws or if you don't need it just glue it shut. "
