Putting the servos in. I cut some foam out so the aileron servo sat lower in the wing. Also did a quick CG check, looks like it will be very close to recommended spot so if any nose weight is needed it will be minimal. .

I've never tried the nip and tuck method before. I'm thinking about trying it to my f-86. I just have a couple of questions I was hoping you can answer for me so that I can understand how to accomplish this successfully. Do you cut all the way through to the end of the hatch opening? Also, what type of glue did you use to glue it back together? Is 5min epoxy strong enough for this kind of foam? I gotta say I really enjoy flying this jet with my wemo/razor combo. It's very stable and relaxed. I have an extra 4800 and wemo combo sitting on my bench. I'm planning on going with 2 7.4V 1000mah in series.

Quick question...

If using a thrust tube, why do the nip & tuck also? Is it just for looks?

To help reduce wake drag and also to see if it was possible to nip and tuck even more but decided to stop there.

i wouldnt go over 110%on anything. if its something real slow, say 40-60mph...MAYBE 120. MAYBE. anything past 70, 100 is enough.

yeah, youll see a imprivement even on a stock setup. these companies kill me.

What did you use to secure the exhaust tube at the exhaust end? Do you brace it to be centered in the exhaust nozzle area?

Right now nothing as when it is taped to the fan it can not be moved. I have it all the way down to help add downthrust so the extra power will keep it from climbing. I may need to adjust it but have to flight test first.

Thanks. I'm keeping a log of tips on the individual 50mm airplanes to reference as they enter the stable.

for the life of me im wondering why they didnt just use 2 real small servo's instead of one right in the middle..hanging out. :O sheesh
