No.Are you having trouble with the D/L or getting it to install in the radio?
What browser are you using? If your really having an issue getting your Airware
reliably PM Andy.He will get it sorted for you without going round and round with speculation.

Proper removing of the SD Card from the PC is always a good thing and sometimes resolves issues when trying to use it in the radio.

Make sure you eject or safely remove the card from the pc versus just pulling it out.

I would have kicked his ass for such a stupid unit

We have other famous guys. Schrdinger ('s Cat), Doppler (Effect), Anton Zeilinger, Boltzmann. Some Artists like Haydn, 2x Johann Strauss, Mozart, Joe Zawinul, or Falco and California's Governator; Klaus Maria Brandauer (a way better Actor than Arnold )
Also some guys not to be proud of, too...

Re firmware update: I always name it properly and do the update in the file menu (and keep the old ones just in case). Just make sure the file is complete.
Today I buddy boxed with a friend (he is mode 1, I am mode 2) with a modified DX4 (removed the RF module for a FutSpek Module). I love the trainer function, works like a charm. I had some heart-attack moments, because my T-Rex 250 is set up very "agile" for me and he had to get used to it, but it is cool to change expo during his flight so the liked it more. Also, I had time to watch the display. Nice little ->SD logo when logging to the SD card. I don't know what to do, but hey, I can log to the SD card

His units made sense - 0 is the lowest temperature he could achieve with certain salts and water, and 100 was his target for human body. Nothing wrong with them. Besides, they all convert to one another easily enough.

What I like about trainer mode is putting it on a different switch, like A, so I don't have to hold the pushbutton in. Then as soon as I move the sticks, I have control again; I don't have to think to release the button and then grab control any more.

And best of all, my finger doesn't get sore!

Fahrenheit temperature conversion formulae

from Fahrenheit

to Fahrenheit

Celsius

[C] = ([F] − 32) 5⁄9

[F] = [C] 9⁄5 + 32

Kelvin

[K] = ([F] + 459.67) 5⁄9

[F] = [K] 9⁄5 − 459.67

Rankine

[R] = [F] + 459.67

[F] = [R] − 459.67

"Easilly enough"? I dont think so, The problem is "0" in F or C doesnt represent actual zero "Measure" of temperature. there is still plenty of "Temperature Energy" at 0 F and C. Kelvin and Rankine are really the only logical systems.

Seems easy enough to me
F -32 *.55 = C
or
c*1.8+32= F

When your wife asks you to turn up the thermostat do you ask her what degree in Rankine she would like it at

anyhoo shouldnt the math look more like this
[C] = (F− 32) (5⁄9)

been a while since i have done math though
but thank you for givign me an easy conversion to C as my wife is more use to that measurment

Nope, it is not a simple conversion like Inches to Centimeters.

PS: The problem is again the zero points are not the same and somewhat arbitrary.

Next i performed a Range Check (30 mtr) with my Habu32 (motor off) and i had more than 100 Frame losses within seconds and a Hold (in DSMX mode with AR8000).

I went home and got my good old DX8 to verify that it's the DX18 that has a problem.
Result ... A=0, B=5, L=0, F=0, H=0 during a 6 minute flight. (SUPER)

Both transmitters where operating in the same mode (DSM2) and i used same flight distance and patterns.

So I wrote an email to Horizonhobby Germany and tomorrow they are picking up my DX18 for Check. Let's hope they find the rootcause, because i don't thrust it ... i never had such high values with my DX8.

Kind regards,
Emile
Today i received a new DX18, let's hope the problem is gone.
There was no info about the rootcause.

Quick repair/replace service from horizon germany, only 9 days incl shipping between country's!
Will let you guys know if this one has better range check.
I hope equal to my DX8 performance.

Grtz,
Emile
