Pilot R/C 53" SBach "electric"

It looks like Pilot R/C has jumped into the electric market.

i know of a few guys running the dle 20 in 70 in range with great success. a dle 20 is roughly the same power as a os120ax. the dle 20 makes really good power. some wise guy i know likes to use the term freakish...i would say the dle 20 makes freakish power

I just ordered the 18% Sbach. I will be makeing a build log of my plane to share with you guys.

I also wish Pilot would make planes for the DLE 20 with a wing span between 60-65" they will sell like hot cakes. since this engines are really powerful for thier size and it makes it affordable for gas newcomers to get a gas plane.

Hey guys i just got my 18% sbach tonight and it looks really "small"compared to my 25% Pilot Sbach, but after looking through the plane i notice that like all other Pilot-rc product they are really well built.

my only problem is with the servo holes. they are a wierd size (32mm x 17mm) which is too big for a mini servo and too small for a standerd 35mm servo. now im really confused which servos to go with either I make holes biger and add a standers servo or get the smaller servo. keep in mind I would like to keep the plane as light as I can.

does anyone have any servo recommendation for this plane. I wish Pilot-RC would put how many KG the servos should be. then I can decide.

detailed pics of the plane will be upload tomorow.

Looks like a hitec hs225mg servo will fit right in there. Or a spektrum 5040 if you want a digital MG servo

HS 225mg Great choice.... for servos
as for the motor I would do more research because I don't think torque 830 or the Hacker a30-14l v2 will work, underpower...
