Question
Antenna's for 5.8 relay

I'm almost done putting my 1.3 ground station together. I'm adding a 250mw 5.8 vtx for a relay to my goggles. I have a pare of CP antenna's, but I rather use the stock Antenna's. Is anyone using the stock antenna's for their relay? Probably will be 30-50 feet away if that much.

I've used both and at that distance it doesn't matter. The stock antennas work well when my GS is 75' away and that's using the Immersion 10mW repeater.

Stock antennas are fine , unless you fly with your head sideways

It is better to use clovers or skews , unless you are alone .. If there are people moving around the immediate area the rubber duckies will get the odd drop out and reflection and or blocking.
I use a rubber duckie on a10mw 5.8 relay transmitter to my goggles but find I need to use a skew on the goggles end to prevent minor interruptions . the linear to circular mismatch at that range is np and the duckie on the relay is better , in the fact it does not tend to interfere with the main receiver which is a 5.8 diversity on a pole above it .
