Mickeys sticky answers most questions that would ever be raised on questions that will come up on the subject of how auto gyros fly.
Some sections need reading through a few times as instinctive fixed wing thought may not apply.

(RE two blade rotor)Thanks for the information Tom I might give it a try will the rectangular plate be say 4 inches by 2 inches be OK and would the 1/16 fiberglass plate be useable.
I do have some 1/8 FG plate but it seems quite stiff.

Hi Kevin

Give it a go with the 1/16 and perhaps make the plate length over size with three sets of bolt holes , a bit of experimenting should reveal what suits best.
The blades need to be stiff , well made and balanced . I have yet to fix up a CF with two blades so you will be leading the race on this one .
