What are the 2013 recommended ESCs for the Pro Booard?

I have read all the posts on the history of the ESC for the HoverFly Pro. I think the last recommendations were:
A) stay away from opto ESCs?

B) Castle Ice v2 was recommended in Oct 2012. Still?

Just want to make sure I have this correct as 6 Castle Creations ESCs are a major investment.

Running Droidworx VM-6, HoverFly Pro, 2814-11 motors, 12.4 props, 3S or 4S 2500 to 5300 batteries, small gimbal go pro/point shoot system. Add ons will be GPS board and MARS chute.

There is no issue with OPTO ESC's that I'm aware of. That is all we use. Many people use other ESCs than Castle.

Castle Creations Phoenix Ice series with firmware 4.01 or higher is our primary recommended ESC. Castle Creations actually worked with our engineers to make sure that their firmware was optimized to handle our flight controllers, so this as close as you are going to get to an ESC designed for Hoverfly boards.

Turnigy Plush series remains a good choice as well and may be easier on the pocketbook if you are working on a budget.

Still using Plush 60 and 40 Amp with good results. ZTW 55's worked in flight but the setup GUI never wanted to work with them so I couldn't do throttle adjust etc. Possibly the newer ZTW's work but I don't know.

CC Phoenix ICE V2 4.01 is discontinued?

Now I'm confused as the CC Phoenix Ice is discontinued according to Castle Creations web page.

So they are. I suppose we need to stop recommending them then.

Turnigy Plush, Proton Opto, Maytech are ones I have used with success. There are ESCs that will not work with HFP so be careful to select something with a track record. The Castle Creations are too expensive for multirotor use. Patrick Castillo should have worked on the price...
