Question
Super Cub 3-views

Hi guys. I have been searching to no avail for good 3-views of the PA-18 Piper Super Cub. Does anyone have any? I'm converting a 1/4 scale Sig Cub to a Super Cub. I have nice templates of parts of the cowl but I need to get the length and profile forward of the cockpit right as well as the tail shapes.

Thanks,
Mike

Kind if odd isn't it? You can find drawings online of almost any other plane no matter how obscure but not a run of the mill Super Cub.

I vaguely recall an issue of Air Progress (roughly '60s/'70s vintage...) had a three view of the Super Cub... It's been so long since, though, I could be mistaken. I think it was a Triggs drawing, or maybe it was the art that accompanied the article!

I wasn't looking to buy a set. I'm not going to build from it. I just need good profiles to modify my already framed up Sig 1/4 scale Cub. I might just have to work from photos and my E-Flite Super Cub 25e which looks fantastic.

I'm going for one of the looks below. Probably the second one. I really like the PA-18 in white and red.

Guys, there's a 7.75 Mb file Citabria plan in the Hippocketaeronautics plan gallery. (The Pilot/OK version)

Also, in the plans gallery under the "Sterling Models" collection, there is a Super Cub plan (18") that has a small 3-view included on the plan...
