Hopefully you earned a kiss or two for that lad!

Here's a purple, purple body I did. Nope, its not a truck. But, the body was made out of the same dang piece of lexan that a truck body was made out of so all you purists just relax!

Paints are Faskolor. Faux carbon fiber look on the hood. You can see it on the track! I race at www.RCARINDY.com.

I know the thread says "truck." I'll be happy to paint this scheme on a truck body if you want.

Also did it in orange too (last photo).

My latest

Here's my latest project. It's an axial scorpion with some small pieces from a wheelie king on a custom shortened wheelbase chassis. It got a transmission and esc out of a wraith paired with a titan 12t motor. The body is a 1980's gijoe strike force jeep made for the 12" sized dolls. It's all custom painted and custom rusted. The driver is Indiana Jones and his lady is riding shotgun.

Nice job on the weathering! Sure like those tire chains too! Did you make them or buy them?

Man that Axial Scorpion is great. Makes me wish I had more time to invest into body details.
Here's a couple of mine from my Tamiya fever. More to come.......

What's with that subaru brat? The chassis does not look like a Frog. I had an original Brat when I was a kid. Loved it!

Lunch Barks, I painted a body that looks a little like yours this week for a r/c dude. He's putting it on a "show truck" he built with lots of blue anodized stuff and aluminum. Classic lines. Simple paint sometimes is better paint.

Thanks for the positive vibes fellas! HelloScott, I agree that simple is the way to go on the paint 100%. The Brat you speak of is the MudBlaster II. For some reason the changed the body style up for the sequel.

I got a new bashing body for my MBII. I added a waterproof Traxxas 2075 servo as well yesterday. New HPI ESC should be in today as well. This truck is gonna be great once I get all the aluminum parts and oil dampers for the back installed.

It's a really nice eggplant purple, but looks blue in the pic. I love a muscle car body on a monster truck chassis lol

I LOVE those WRAITHs! Got to get one. That will hit the hobby stash hard, but still...

This is my Axial Scorpion ARTR. I did a Ford truck body and just kept it simple. In reality, I will have to cut out the wheel wells if I'm going to use that body for crawling. My son and I have a "show body" and a "go body" for our stuff. We try to keep one nice and tear up the other one. The last shot shows my "go body."
