Well Santa didn't provide me with new batt's for my MCX2 so I went to my LHS and bought 3 new 150 25c batts.


All of my original batts died after two years of use.

Now the little MCX2 is happy again.

I recommend an MCX2 to anyone wanting to learn how to fly a heli and to one wanting to have fun with it after they learn how to fly it.

I decided to test my skills a bit and try not to injure any of my plants in the process.

This is an excellent thread for DX6i numbers and mods for the mcX2. It's worth putting this thread into your "subscriptions." You will learn much as the mcX2 is very similar to the MCX. BTW, the MCX was born first and in MHO remains first...ain't that right North

The thread North gave you is in the single rotor forum. As I pointed out, it's an excellent thread but, hard to find. Many members are still scratching our heads over that one as to how it ended up there.

To answer your question, the only mod I did on my MCX was the MSR swashplate. It was a complete drop in for me but, my Bud had trouble (we are still investigating). Click on my user name...this will bring you to my blog. You can make your own canopy grommets for next to nothing and are much better.

I do have one... the S300 version, with the mcx2 swash

It's still tamer though. I can fly my "2" outdoors... and it has lights

Lights are over rated I fly outside all the time. I can have 6 batts ready in 40 minutes

For those looking through the Coax Heli forum, the thread for the DX6i and mods is not there! Why the heck did he put that where nobody is going to look for it?!! Can it be moved?
