Mini Multirotors Defined

The definition of Mini Multirotors:
  • Maximum ???mm from shaft to shaft for a tricopter
    - or -
  • Maximum ???mm diagonal from shaft to shaft for a quad or multi rotor aircraft with more than 4 motor axes

Please let me know what these definitions should be and then perhaps someone will make this a sticky

Thank you

Thank you siriusflier - that's the obvious location for finding the answer - of course, for some reason, I never looked there (ha)

Here's the answer in case anyone is wondering:
  • Mini multicopters (<30cm-15cm) --> (<11.8" to 5.9")
  • Micro multicopters (<15cm) --> (<5.9")

Okay. Then what about nano (smaller than micro) and pico (smaller than nano)?

Of course then on the other end we have mega, giga, and then tera.

There is obviously no answer since these are terms some part of the public has created....and now that the market is growing, there will be vast numbers of quads which fall in-between.

One easy way to think about them are those capable of actual payloads and those not. IMHO, anything from the typical minis (X1, 929, etc.) down (in weight) are in a different class than those which can carry even a mobius and some accessories (40-50 grams).
