Question
Anyone Try the GWS FUNNY PARK?

I had to decide between an E-Starter, or a Funny Park for a good entry e-plane. I selected the Funny Park, and it is a hoot to fly. I've just finished a Formosa, and was wondering if anyone can compare the Funny Park and the Formosa..

Thanks....

I have the E starter, the FunnyPark, and the Formosa. I like the Formosa best and the FP least. It just does not balance well (without a ton of weight). I extended the front of my plane to help the balance. It still flys too fast for how short it is, and forget rolls unless you're way up in the sky.

Anyhow my Funnypark has given up its servos for other projects and I fly the Formosa almost exclusively. Oh yehh, get the Estarter too , it flys good and you can put floats, a camera, or bomb drop on it.

E starter, the FunnyPark EPS-400C version will be avalible at your LHS soon!

By using the haevier 400 motor, the balance of CG is better for the new flyers.

I have the FP and I balanced it without adding weight by extending the battery forward thru the firewall.

It flys well, but could use more power.

Chuck, thanks for the "up grade"

FP is fast, but with all that dihederal, it makes it forgiving. Can the Formosa be flown as slow as the FP? Aerodynamically, it appears that the Formosa would have to be flown at 1.25 the speed of the Formosa to keep it in the air... (Are looks deceiving??)

Funny Park seems heavier than the Formosa, I think the Formosa will fly at least as slowly as the Funny Park, since it is lighter and has plenty of wing area.

I can slow my formosa down slower than the funnypark(all that wing). The funnypark seems to have really dense foam and that makes it heavy. I dont hate the funny park though, as a matter of fact Im saving it to overpower later( have you seen the brushless funnypark video on eflightline.com? That thing is awesome

you guys crack me up... it's great to hear some of you are really enjoying the funny park. i liked mine for the playful looks and wild tumbling characteristics, but it was also the toughest foamy to fly and to land. mine flew like it had a mind of its own. sort of opposite of my formosa. great thing is, every time i flew it, i felt like a brand-newbie, i was totally on my toes, and feelin' the 20 mph rush. cheers.
