That's great flying, thanks for sharing it.
I saw a fuzzy old Cox advertisement movie where a guy flew three control line planes; one in each hand and one in his teeth. (It happens at 5:05)

I don't know, I only saw the header in the "Hot Threads" portal and clicked it. As for the two guys above my post, one has 3 posts and the other has 5. So my guess is they don't know their way around yet. ya think...

Welcome to RCG, new guys.

Rusty

Thanks for reply Draftman1 and RknRusty. I’ve selected this sub forum just because Kristian is an excellent combat pilot, see the result here for example:

You may have also noticed both planes tow a streamer in the video.

Thanks for the control line video link RknRusty, it is amazing and also (at least for me) very nostalgic.

Jan

To make it more related to combat for draftman. Those are two EPA combat planes, there is even one cut in the vid. I have been flying ACES 1:12 scale glow aircombat for 10 years and have been to 77 competitions throughout the time. I really dont understand your nervous response here.

JanRy, that last link you posted won't work in my Opera or IE9 browsers. Looks like a host server error. Maybe later.

Neat video, but I've been flying for twenty years and still have enough trouble keeping one plane in the air.

I always wondered if this would work with just one controller, especially before 2.4ghz... if you had two receivers in two planes on the same frequency would they both work from the same Tx or would they interfere with one another?

You could try it, take a video of it and show us the results.

That video of Kristian doing it, combat style, is amazing. Hard to imaging the skill needed to pull it off.

FWIW, Jim Walker flew 3 C/L Fireballs at once in demos back in the early days. One in each hand, another with its handle attached to a helmet he'd wear.
