I was wondering the motor diameter itself, not the fans. I am looking at these fans at HK, I bet the diameter of the motor is 28mm

Nope, it's smaller. Dia of "bell" is a little less than 28mm. But the extended front part of the motor that mounts within the shroud is smaller, yet.

That is correct the motor has an extension the motor bell is 25.66mm, if you still have the instructions you will see the extension, or go on wind rider site,you will see it there

so I guess that the motor would be too small for a fan shroud that can fit up to a 28mm motor

Yeah, when I opened mine, the extension goes into the fan shroud, the motor at 25.66 would still be too big, a 28MM would be the same size to the outer wall of the fan unit, if you want a 28MM you'll probably be the 70MM, or 68MM. I may be wrong, which wouldn't suprise me, lol

Nice scheme! Too bad the filter ruins the photos. Also, the green patch on either side of the nose should wrap around the radome as well. And the text logo should be below the windows, not above it.
