Hi, I just bought a V911 and its transmitter/controller has so many buttons/operations which i am not sure how to operate. More so i moved from s107g to this V911. On s107g controller the throttle was on left and right was used for moving left/right...on v911 the left one is for throttle and changing direction of heli and right for going forward and backward. Now this is creating an issue for me..i think i will have to practice..but more so i want to get a description of all the functionality of controller and its capability and what i can do to try different things on heli. Are there any threads that specifically talk about this? or any website where i can get that info?

You might ask in the V911 threads in the micro heli forum. Depending on where you are located and which mode you are using, the left stick controls throttle and rudder (yaw), the right stick controls ailerons (roll) and elevators (pitch); for mode 2. Mode 2 is used in the USA. You also have a dual rate switch, which determines how aggressively the heli responds to stick commands. You probably want low rates to start with, although that may yield rather weak movement. The little tabs on the sides of each stick are for trimming the stick functions. You usually want all of them centered, except throttle (which should be low).

I don't think there is any such literature or discussion available. The V911 controller layout is very common and contains nothing unusual for a 4 channel heli. Perhaps if you had specific questions and we knew what country you were in, it would help. A picture of the controller would help, too; just to make sure we are discussing the same thing.

All you need to do is to download either the v911 instruction manual or better the Align TRex 100 instruction manual. See the two pages "Flight adjustment and setting". Will also explain some useful flying exercises to practice control.

Personally, I do find google too complicated. The first result just redirects me to another search engine, the second is a site that provides manuals for cars... the top third of the results page is all sponsored (tranlates to paid for) results, and at the bottom is even more sponsored results that contain the word "manual". I use a couple of different search engines and none of them is google.

Yeah, I'm an ass sometimes. But I have always used Google, and ALWAYS
been able to find what I'm looking for.

Sure, you might have to sift through a few ads, but for FAST results and
toolbar free browsers, it's hard to beat.

Keep in mind, most of my searches are for computer related stuff, so my
results are not typical of the average user. Sometimes I just need to keep
my trap shut... hence the avatar picture.

Download and run Spybot Search and Destroy to clean up your system,

Spybot is one of the few spyware removal programs recommended by Microsoft.

MalwareBytes works wonders as well, here it is:

Make SURE you download from these links, no other.

You might even want to download them on a different computer that you know
is clean, and then boot your machine in "safe mode with networking" by pressing F8
at startup, before the Windows logo comes up. Then copy to your machine with
a flash drive, and run the downloads.

Make sure you download all the updates for these programs once you install them,
and do a complete scan. Also, don't forget to immunize in Spybot.

BTW, I repair computers for a living.
Hopefully this somewhat makes up for being such a wanker.

If your computer is SEVERELY infected, these programs could cause your
machine to not boot, especially if any of the infections are tied to critical
system files. But if that is the case, you would probably need it to be
wiped and reloaded either way.
