Converting two 44" slope Zagi's to Electric powered
I was given two beaten up 44" zagi's that i will be coverting to electric powered.
The tape has been removed and foam straightened and repaired. The leading edge on the zagi is epp and trailing edge epo with a spar made out of corflu between, which has been destroyed is there anything else that could be used istead to strenghten the wings. I will also be looking at some sort of carbon fiber spar system and mounting system for the motor. Ideas please? I have been looking at the iyf44 ritwing puilds for some ideas and am thinking of using. Stuff i have: 55a Turnigy Trust esc 2200mah Turnigy nano-tech 45c-90c 3cell x 2 HXT900 servos x 4 Need to buy: MicroDAN 2505 -1845Kv or MicroDAN 2505 "Custom" 2535Kv Lam film (Where can i buy this from in Australia) Props Motor mount I have seen that a member called Klique made a video of how to build a ritewing but also can not find any download link to this. I have only just started out doing R/C 6 months ago i have a Bixler and a 50" Slope combat wing. I have been into Controll Line for some time and have intermediate building skills. |
