HA! Now I know I'm not the only one who plays with his boats while taking a bath!

Ha !

Yes, something like that.

Seriously though, the little sub seems to have lost all forward & reverse movement.

The prop still spins in both directions and I have removed the gunk from the prop shaft.

Maybe the gunk overloaded the little motor or the prop is slipping on the shaft ?

Bummer! I was enjoying it.

Oh, that is a shame. If it is in fact slipping on the shaft, maybe you could try a tiny drop of CA on the prop. ...but be extremely careful, apply the CA using a pin, and hold the sub nose-high so the CA doesn't flow into the stuffing box.

Thanks Rick,

I got a mag glass & noticed some more gunk wrapped around the shaft.

Think I got it all. I'll run a sink full of water later and try it.

Guess I found the subs achilles heel. You really need to ensure your water is 100% free of any lint, hair, gunk etc.The bath is not ideal,

I need a filtered fish tank.

You can get an IR amplifier that may work with the sub.

Yes or Best Buy. It is a repeater so that you can turn off or whatever from another room or longer distance in a large family room.

In IR amplifier?

I want one too !

Yes, I reckon the Air Hogs Sub can handle 3 feet with ease if the signal is able.

Thanks Rick,

Yes, now I will only be running it in a filtered fish tank.

Cheers,

Paul.
