Noisy, Twitchy Input

Hey guys, wonder if anyone can help. I have a DX5e setup with clearview RC and have noticed it is very twitchy. When visually looking at the input it seems to be a bit noisy, i.e. it almost looks like someone is jabbing at the sticks on the tx randomly when of course they are not. Is there anything I can do to remidy this?

Cheers in advance guys

I probably should mention that im using a mono audio jack in a creative xfi sound card. I have tried the onboard audio input but it has the same effect. Im also using smartpropoplus to translate the input signal for clearview.

Cheers again guys!
