I am sorry I have to say this, but online support on AQ forums is not what one would expect.

I got a dud AQ6 + DIMU board and posted about it, with screen shots, on Dec. 12 over at the AQ forums, hoping for at least an idea of what is going on. I am still waiting for a reply!
Anyway, it was sent back to flyduino, we'll see what comes out of this.

I would have expected a little more support from an EU producer/community.

Sorry, bikerboy - we obviously completely missed it.

Letīs see what Flyduino comes up with. If itīs a defect hardware youīll be getting replacement.

Then you could try with r441 and QGC 1.6 again.

Well, one way or another, I'll get the board back and try it again.

Usually, I take care of these things, but december was way stressed for me, so I might have missed it. Rest assured that if you got a dud board, it will be replaced or repaired under warranty!

Yeah, I can understand that, but you can imagine my frustration!

Anyway, I hope to get it working as it should, that's why I chose AQ for this special project in the first place.

Thanks.

So long for now

Greetings,

With the upcoming move this year, I'm getting out of RC for a while, and will be selling off most of my stuff to keep from having to move it. Of course I made that decision after ordering the latest M4 boards, so I posted all my AQ stuff for sale on the classified section:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...4#post30368655

Thanks to all the AQ folks, and good luck with a great project.

Cheers,
Rusty

Hi all and happy new year!

I have also recently returned a board to you. I have sent several emails to jussi about it but never got a reply.

I got the impression you guys where super busy so didn't want to wine about it, but it would be nice to get some news.

I originally spoke to jussi here on rc groups a couple months ago about not getting any sats on my AQ6. He offered to have a look at it if i sent it back. So i did, but it seems to have got stuck at the post office.
You can see it here on the tracking info.
The package number is; LW 00 449 965 2 FR you can see it here
http://www.csuivi.courrier.laposte.f...=LW004499652FR

It's been there nearly 2 months now!

On the more positive side...

I now have two AQ6 flying great and have just passed my UK drone exams with them both! Now just waiting for the paper work from the CAA.

Now i want to build a full quantos mini quad to carry a gopro and fpv gear! I am loving my micro m4, but want to test quantos on something a bit more useful!

Jussi, can you tell me if the ESC32 you sell at viacopter is can ready?

Thanks in advance, Tristan

New HoTT fw version for the AQ6 based on r445

Menno has released new versions for Graupner HoTT telemetry and many other features.

Quote:
Update jan 2015:
In this release
~Updated to AQ7-r445
+ added support for M4v2
+ option to use M4v2 comport 1 or comport 3 (both on expansion connectors) via param TELEMETRY_HPORT
TELEMETRY_HPORT = 0 ; comport 1, TELEMETRY_HPORT = 1; comport 3
For using comport1 set the mavlink communications to none on that port. (suggestion to prevent mavlink conflicts)
-> QGCS, Misc settings, Communication Ports, Serial Port 1: protocol NONE and save
+ Support for ESC32v3, support for AQ PDB, current sensor and voltage via CAN
+ Support for using Quatos with other multirotor ESC's like Kiss/SimonK (experimental, limited user experience).
Default behavior is other ESC, for using onboard esc set MOT_ESC_TYPE to 1, for using PWM connected ESC32, set MOT_ESC_TYPE to 2.

Please not that due to more configs testing has been limited, testing has been done on m4v2 using comport 1 and 3 and AQ6r1 with Dimu
