Micro RC Vendors

Here is a list of vendors specializing in Micro RC Airplanes. The list is specifically intended for newcomers to micro planes who want to get an overall idea of where to buy specialized micro plane equipment. Vendors for specialty items useful to micro RC like magnets, wire, chips, etc are in the Micro Suppliers thread.

Vendors are arranged alphabetically.

He sells speicalized items like IR gear and kits, very small sub 4mm pager motors, etc. Customer service, packaging, and transit time from Japan are said to be excellent, like his finely crafted planes.

Micro Flight Tech (Sweden): Sells WES Technik micro gear, small LiPoly batteries, Gasparin and Microinvent receivers and linear actuators, and other equipment, as well as larger park flyer items.

Microinvent (Slovakia): Sells their own receivers, carbon fiber props, actuator/servos, and beautiful hand built Peanut and other sized scale RC RTF planes.

If you would like to suggest a vendor for inclusion in the list please post it below. However, if Graham and I do not agree it is a vendor with a major enough presense in the Micro RC area it will not be added to the list. The purpose of this list is simply to give newcomers a reasonably short list of vendors to peruse as they become familiar with who sells what. It is not meant to be a completely exaustive list of every vendor who sells something related to micro.

Micro RC-Vendors

I contacted "Peck-Polymers" today 11-30-2006 and the owner (Sandy)
told me that she is selling out the business and all the inventory is packed up
and unavaible as of now....
I thought you might want to remove that Vendor from the "Vendors List"....

For what it is worth the Superior Balsa link is no longer valid.

Jerry,
Thanks. I noticed last week that it took me to a NM hobby shop. I wondered what has happened. I thought maybe Superior has been bought by a LHS in the NM area. I placed and received an order from them about two months ago. So, I have no idea what has transpired. Anyway, I'll remove the link since I have no information and it still takes me to a hobby shop.

Paul,
I had heard that Peck was selling out. But I wasn't sure if that meant someone was taking over the business. It sounds like the business is no more. A couple of weeks ago I checked and their web site was still there. But, I'll remove that link too.

I'll remove Cloud 9 at the end of December as John Worth says on that site he is closing down the Cloud 9 business at the end of the year to focus on the RC Micro World publication.

Seems like I'm removing a lot of vendor links lately.

The Indoor Flyer link is out of date. It should be http://www.indoorflyer.co.uk

Nick Leichty's website should be included. It is at
http://microflierradio.com/

Also, Peck-Polymers appears now to be a division of A2Z who are still carrying a lot of interesting indoor model supplies. I just downloaded a couple of Peanut scale plans from there, so they seem to be in business. See

Martin,
Thanks for the reminder that Peck is now owned and run by A2Z. Nick Leichty's link was not working in January, and had not worked for a while, which is why it was removed. I've put the new Peck back in, as well as Nick.

Boredom,
Might be a good idea to check facts before posting. The link to Indoor Flyer is correct, and was updated to the new url back in July, when Epilot posted. This is why he posted "Eh?", because he could see that it was in fact the correct link.

Ok, the thread seems to be up to date now.

I think DPC Models deserves a spot in your list.
