You knew some dopey B would ask, didn't you , but do you also have a list of the modules for the main gears on popular micro helis? EG GWS DF, Hummingbird, Aerohawk, Piccolo etc etc.

I have most of them listed in the EHBG.

IIRC, they're all 0.5 module except for the Hornets, which are 0.4 module.

Hey Toshi,

What about Align 3.2mm (1/8") bore pinions?

I guess I could list 1/8" pinions too.

How many teeth are they, and what's the part #?

Toshi

toshi i think the RC18T pinions are .5 mod too as the RC18T pinions i just received have identical meshing to the RS4 pinions i have . i have both set's of the x-ray pinions en-route too, what type of composite are they?

the X-Ray pinions have to be my favoute of the 3 i have, the only downside is that in the 4 pinion pack you only get 1 set screw. www.rc-union.com has the 13T, 14T, 15T, 16T (#385701) in stock just now, but he's waiting on the 17T, 19T, 21T, 23T (#385700) to come back in stock, he is one of the cheapest sources i found for the X-Ray M18 pinions and is a pleasure to deal with

Phil,
Thanks for the link! I'll have to wait for the other ones to get in stock too

Have you tried drilling one of these out to a 3mm shaft?

Thanks!

np jared . i've not tried drilling them out but there is enough material to do it, as long as your accurate it should be ok. i'll take some macro pics of the pinions i have tomorrow so check back then to see what you think

I think it should work...drilling it out that is. I'll just put it on my drill press and hope for the best I'll probably try it on a smaller pinion first, just in case
