The P-40 is a to hand launch at the best of times. But even more so with a tail wind!!

Anyway, a relatively easy fix and good reminder to remember the basics.

Must takeoff into the wind

However I compensated for the (temporary) loss of the P-40 by buying a sh Phoenix Tucano from Discount Hobbies later in the day.

Around a 1.7m wingspan so may be another one that has to wait till I join a 'outdoor' club early next year

Well it does have an undercarriage Matt but your right, hand lauching the Tucano may be the way to go.

I mean, what could go wrong with a hand launch??????
