Flew my new HC 4s 5000 mah pack today in the T45. I'm very happy with the performance and the pack was just barley warm after a four min flight. I'm going to have to put a new CC Ice 100 on my Christmas list because I'm worried about over taxing my CC 80 with these 30C packs.

I will be interested in a new T-45 as mine met an untimely death yesterday. I think the culprit was a cold solder joint. Great plane. Will get another one. Ouch!

I am starting my build (finally as I have had it since SEFF). Belly flopping here so plan to reinforce the belly pan with glass on the inside and add skid plate to keep the wing tips up so I can use the flaps to land without tearing them off.

The differences are your ducting, flaps, refracts, and a new motor, right?

Mine's top speed was in the low 100's. Speed is nice but outside of that assuming the same power set up, I have the new motor, would I notice that the V2 flies better? I know slowing the V1 took a while. I have my eye on the blue t-45. I would probably not put in retracts going with fixed gear since that's what my V1 has. Note I said has since I'm still going through the wreckage.

he said it was a cold solder joint so im thinking a solder connection at the batt cause him to lose his motor and radio control.

Yup, it wasn't anything with the airframe. Lost power, plane go boom Hey AS again, outside of speed, I would want the V2 why?

flaps and it comes with L39 ducts.but the other changes might be neg. they moved the fan fwd to make it easier to get at and changed the mount system ,but that might (not sure) make c/g with a big batt 4000-5000 mah too far fwd . they moved the elev servo fwd too.and it is retract ready ????
