New poli canopy should be out sometime in January, please note that are not same material as the old plastic canopies, these new ones are much much stronger.

Great, thanks for the update. Are they the same physical shape, not any smaller/narrower/tighter ?

I see one place is selling the protos with the flybarless head, but it seems they are just adding that into the package.

any chance of a protos that just comes with the flybarless head instead of flybar?

I used the MSH vbar file as a base. I changed the cyclic gain from 78 to 100. My collective number is 88 from 100 (cyclic servo balls 16.5mm out). And dialed the agility down. My tail gain is at 110 with MKS 8910 servos and ball 10mm out on the arm.

Here are a few notes..
*Grab the vbar file from msheli.com
*Channels 2&3 will be reversed in the software (piro optimization might work better reversed because of this)
*You might need to strap your mini-v down tight to prevent tail-wag
*Be careful of binding at full negative collective and full left/right aileron as the servo arm will hit the frame

Also, I highly recommend the MSH FBL head conversion kit.

Has anyone tried this ? If this fits, maybe, better for CG using 7S A123....

Thanks.

I think the description has been copied and pasted from the flybar version, since MSH haven't yet posted specs on their own website. Nevertheless, I think they are the new kits with flybarless heads. Maybe Corrado can confirm this. If so then I would expect only a matter of days before ReadyHeli and the other US dealers get them.

I think its standard Protos bundled with their custom FBL kit.
Pics are small but looks like that RJX conversion. You can see the swash driver and lower head block.

I have no expeirence with RJX but I would be very disappointed if I bought that kit thinking it will come with genuine MSH parts. Unofficially bundling the MSH FBL upgrade is somewhat cheaky and they should state that in the description but if it's bundled with an RJX conversion then it would be absolutely wrong for them to advertise it as anything otherwise. I hope nobody has bought this with disappointment on my info. I am very sorry if you have done so.

Yep, that is the RJX head. You can tell by the way the swash driver arms are at a funny angle.

Here are some close up pics of the head on a Protos:
