Take another look He's put it back up along with others.......but not the bat!

BTW, he did give plenty of warning in the fox thread in the slope forums, but it's moot anyway, anyone who wants one has now until almost xmas to get free freight.

World of Planes has small parts set for ez glider that don't have the clips that break and piss ya off. They have a small round "eyelet" clip for the canopy and a flat clip with a hump that the eyelet snaps over and no breakage. The last two sets iv ordered from them were like that. They want 20.99 which iv seen cheaper but the clips are great. On page 4 search multiplex A good question out there. How do i send pics? Iv got dig camera that plugs into laptop,,,, ty

Gazza, don't get the old TP 2408-21 motors they can only handle a 7x4 prop which I don't think is big enough for this glider. And they certainly would not handle a folding prop.

This motor is a better replacement for the TP motors http://www.wattsuprc.com.au/product_...sp?pid=EW-M001

I've pushed this motor to 25amps on an 8x6 APC prop. no probs.

Or choose the 1200kv

mate whats the difference between the motors? a towerpro 2408-21 puts out 600 grams thrust at 13amps 8x4 prop or 7x6 for more speed
the 1200kv motor u suggested puts out 600 grams thrust 13amps 8.3.8 prop
i already have the towerpro motor on hand

There are a few considerations:
1. The 2408-21 is a 1400-1700kv motor if you run a 8x4 or 7x6 you will be pulling more than 13amps and they burnout quickly above 13amps. I suggest using an amp meter to test the true amps.

2. The motor will be completely enclosed so cooling is a factor. Just recently a friend and I just burned 3 2408-21 motors, in a cessna.

3. If you motor has one of the gold mounts they are better. see here http://www.towerpro.cn/english/motor/2408.html

4. The ewatts motors can handle much more than there stated amp rating, this is from experience, and testing of the 1800kv the 1500kv and 1200kv.

I am suggesting these motors from my own experience. I have used the towerpro motors extensively these are much better

If you have a motor on hand may I suggest to bench test it in the model extensively before maiden.

Good Luck

The http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store...idProduct=5499 with a vented hub and a pair of Graupner cam 9x5 blades would be my choice similar to this http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8650

I agree, but there are many other choices depending on your budget. The vented hubs are great.

Any ideas?
