Plastic type mold thing?

I would like to know if anyone knows of a product that, if I am correct, is like a two part epoxy, maybe not. I want to make a mold that turns hard and plastic like. I believe there is something that you put into the mold itself before putting the stuff into the mold so that it doesn't stick when you take it out.

I can't really explain it well but if you know what I am talking about please let me know what I can use.

This stuff is expensive.

I also found this video and it seems pretty cool

Are you trying to describe resin casting? The tool is made of latex rubber, but the parts are made from resin. Both are hand mixed and poured. You can also get castable rubber products of various durometers (hardness).
The process starts with a master. The master is used to create the tool. The tool is used over and over again to reproduce the master. Handy for model building if you need 40 water tight doors on your ship model.
The flexible nature of the tool allows for undercuts that would not be possible with hard steel tooling.
