Is the Novus CP remote compatibile with the CX and FP helicopters?

I bought a power plug to charge the batteries in the remote. Big mistake! Seems there's no auto-shutoff circuit. I melted the entire bottom of the remote.

I was wondering if I moved to the next stage a Novus CP is the remote compatible to run the FP and CX helicopters?

The Transmitter that come with the Novus CP does not work with FP and CX helis. The 2801-Pro Transmitter that comes in a combo with a Walkera 4G3 heli does work with all the helis you mentioned.

Remember that different vendors TX's and chargers may have a different polarity at the jack. Just because you have a charger that will plug into the TX doesnt mean that the + and - arent reversed between the two. It sounds like you used a charger that was reversed and this is what caused your issue. If so your batteries became scorching hot and this was what melted your TX

The Novus is really a Walkera 4#3B(FP model) and 4G3(CP model) and the the FP uses a model 2401 4 channel TX and the CP uses a model 2601 6 channel TX. You can get the Walkera parts much cheaper or as mentioned above, the 2801 computer TX will fly all the Walkera/Novus 2.4 Ghz helis.

There are many people in the forums with multiple unused Walkera TX's because every heli comes with one, so you most likely can find someone to practically give you one just to get rid of the stockpile. I finally managed to give all of mine away
