Most excellent job Ken .......I like seeing springers in the Buff! Pretty messy wasn't it? But well worth the effort. Now on to Springer #2....Hope you didn't set the bar too high for yourself. (I know I am going to regret typing bar)

Where do you run in Aurora?
We have 2 ponds that I know of in Aurora. The largest one is behind the county building but the Canadian geese like the place and they leave a lot of land mines on the grass. You need waders just get to the water. The other pond is about a mile from our house and no honkers or weeds, just a few stray leaves and 2 fountains.

Tomcat

Got to sail the Tomspringer today... kids loved it as it is not so fast. It took my son about 15 min to learn to drive it (on 4 channels), but it looked lovely. Now I can finally get the paint and internals finished. There was almost no difference in speed when I was pushing another boat, so powerful enough for me... Guys on the pond were suggesting to try to compete with my cat, but that has a 1100W motor, so no real competition
I also attach an unrelated pic with my favorite: the Baby Bootlegger...

Well, it's not exactly a shape that was designed for water... but I am also considering some supplementary EDFs...
