Robbe Happy Hunter

I have seen this in Leeds Model Shop. The box looks big and gorgeous. But I habe built aircraft (3) and cars (5, some of them serious competion machinery), but haven't ever built a boat. I wouldn't have a clue how to get a stern-tube through a hull. How easy is it to build these things ? I would ove to build and own this thing. Happy Hunter, how cool is that !

Go to Robbe's site, find the Happy Hunter, and you can read the manual before hand.
Not sure how THAT kit does it, but you can be sure that Robbe has fully engineered the parts and will walk you through the process step by step.

Note that you NEED the "optional" fittings and power kits.

Bravo,

I have built this boat and can tell you it will take some time. Do a search on here and you can fgind some threads on the builds others have done as well as my pics and others.

It is a fun boat to sail and I get alot of compliments at the lake with it. As Patmat said there are some additional things you'll need to buy including the fittings kit and the power plant, plus batteries etc.

Here is a link to my Happy Hunter and some modifications I recently did
