Police car light kit

I'm looking for a police car light kit (including light bar) similar to whats below to fit a 1/10 scale car. I've found a few but they are for 1/18 scale cars or smaller. Here is a link to exactly what i'm looking for, unfortunatly it's to small for what i need. Thanks

Kyle, if you use an aluminium light bar, you could use LED's in the scale casings.

Well it would need to be a non-R/C toy with working lights. I don't want to pay 1 hundred bucks for a car i'm going to take apart, ya know what i'm saying. I'm going to try in Toys'R'us to find one. Thanks for the replies and keep you eyes open for anything i could use.

Hey Gromitvt10,

I've been talking to policecarmodels / copcarcollector... I'm guessing you've visited their site.

They said they've got no 1/10 scale police cars or lights and have no leads where to find one. Looks like it's gonna be a tough hunt.

Deathstar,

Yeah, no one seems to have that size. 1/10 or 1/8 scale would work. We've got our work cut out for us. Maybe we should make them and go into business..lol

Hello I wanted to do the samething i went to walmart in the toy section and found a police car made buy tonka. i think i paid $9.99 for it. it has the light bar and led's. i had to disasemble it to get the light bar and sound kit. It is close enough for 1/10 scale . i also found light kits on e-bay

Thanks a bunch!! This is what i found, it's a bit pricey but is pretty close to what we are looking for. But i think i'll have to snag parts from different things and make it myself.

No pics- I think I bought the first set from them in 1990 and I've probably had three sets. They make a 'pace car' kit with a light bar that I used to make a... yup, pace car.
