Thank you. Did you use the magnets in the kit? And if so I can't see where the two side one's go but I am not sure about the tongue part that goes on the front right?

Tongue thing looks right. If you have a printer I would highly recommend printing out the online manual. I just printed mine out (thank god for double sided printing!) noticed I put the wrong controll arm on the flaps. It takes the stright horn not the angled ones O well at least I only had one in

That is whatI did, that is one big book. That how I saw where the magnets went. Can I ask you what servo did you use in the rudder if you did the rudder mod? I can't spend a lot but I don't want a HS-55 or something that will break and then you know the pain in A$$ to get that servo in let alone out when it has been glued in. Thanks for your help and the maual is great. But some things just are not in there. I got the right horns in the right places on the wing.

91% isopropyl alcohol works fine. I have epoxied several sets of tip tanks and wiped them clean with lots of this alcohol with no ill effects.

Mercury

Hey guys I use this stuff it is made by Mercury Adhesives and it is the best it is the debonder and it works so good that I put it on a wing I had the had epoxy and CA on it and the epoxy was about a foot and half lomg and had been on the wing for over nine months. So I put this stuff on there and bang works great. I have even got CA hinges out after they were glued in for about a year. Great stuff.

Back to the plane. I was trying to use the stock wires on the retracts and one of the wires broke. How hard is to bend the wires that came with the retracts?? Or how did some of you guys do it? I just can't see laying down another $140 bucks for the struts. I can pay that . I already have alot on $$$$$ into this EDF as it is.

I have the ones that came with my sapac retracts I could send you one as I bought the scale struts. PM me if you want.

Side note: This is quite an expensive plane for me with all the other planes I bought this year. Last Nov 2008 an illegal alien (with insurence) ran into the back of my car giving me whip lash. Just a few weeks ago I ended up with $7800.00 for my injuries and pain and suffering so most of this unexpected $ went right into my RC fund! Hence the L-39
