I started the thread below and never bought any planes so I would just read it but it took on a life of it's own. You can see the original deals are no longer available but there are other deals in it's place...wasn't my turn to baby sit the thread. Oh, the super chipmunk looks like a good deal just that the wing has to come off to change the battery or make a hatch.

I did a search for "Imax B6" as recommended in a post above. I found a thread where people were changing out resistors to get the charger to stop the charge at a lower voltage and balance more accurately. Not sure if the same applies to this specific model. Judging from your experience it may. How far did you let it go before stopping?

Hello All,
I ordered 4 of these chargers and they arrived 2 days ago. I finally got around to testing them. 2 work fine, 2 are not working. One does not offer Lipo as a battery selection! No kidding, Nicad, nimh, and life are my only choices. The last one displays in hyrogliphics. A display problem no doubt. Maybe I can combine parts from the 2 to make one more good charger. Oh well, $36 for two and maybe three chargers.

PS: Operator error on the one not showing Lipo as an option, it's fine. The other one with the display problem turned out to be a boot problem. I guess I must have slipped with the clip leads and caused it to get in a funny state on power up. 4 for 4, my bad. JB

Yay my second order arrived today. They were placed later on the same day but came in 3 days apart.

Same envelope with no mud either.... but no complaints here

got the battery checker works great even came with the crystal mud great little tool to have. Still waiting on the charger tho maybe sometime this week. i should have made it one order instead of two.

does anybody want to part with their chargers please???? The day I was going to order a charger, all were sold out! Can somone please part with one? I am in desperate need of a goodl charger, the one I use is cheap and can probrably cause a lipo fire! Does anybody have a heart to sell me one?
