Good Morning everyone. Tina had a good time. Beer and pizza and movies. hehe. Welcome Matt to the insanity. hehe. Razor get the big one unless you are going to eat it. Then get the little one. I only hunt for food. No throphies here. It is another beautifull day here in Ga. Maybe I can get in some stick time. I have a question for you all, so answer up at will. What is the largest battery you have managed to get in the air and fly on a v4 type coax? I have recentelly flown a 15c 1300mah and a 1200mah. Good stuff. Have a great day all. And happy flying. Lee

For me I could really care less if I ever shot anything; it's more about family and the beauty and serenity of nature and the wildnerness.

Mike, try what I do. It is a hovering excersise that I like to do. Object is to keep the copter one foot off the ground in a square foot area. Land it if you slip out of the square. See how long you can maintain this controlled hover. Lee

BladeThrasher AKA Matt:

Welcome to the club, thread, group or whatever. I am Durk and I have been trying to fly for over a year, have been too busy with other pursuits.

I am at present building and transforming helis, I am into V3's V4"s and PARTS! These parts will become other helis, at present there is a bunch of parts being transformed into a Hunter. A Dauphin is also in the works.

Just keep checking my blog every now and then for updates.

Yes don't keep your heli problems to yourself, SHARE them with us. And don't be offended if you feel like you are being picked on by myself, it happens to be a habit of mine I cannot seem to break.

Right Guys???

About 5 seconds, about 30 seconds, about 0 seconds, how many second attempts for a minute before I strike out?

Did you not have a cake? How do you stick 40 candles on a pizza??

Tina did not want a cake. Thus no candles. Keep trying the hovering excercise untill you can do it. hehe. It is not that hard to do. Rotor wash can make it a challenge. If you have enough space, take it up to a max of five feet off the deck. I think one foot is better, but every now and then I float on up to four or five feet, then back down. hehe. Happy Flying. Lee

Radio Controlled Dog Sled

Here is a picture of the Radio Controlled Dog Sled! The frame, motors, servos and 4 in 1 are mounted out of Polar Bear Reach.

This is the strangest build up I have ever seen, everything mounted up high. It has an AiREY extended shaft with hub that I got in one of my RC Groups purchases. At the moment I have a stock swash, I plan to order some more ofthe cheaper CNC parts soon, I must be the lucky one as I have not got a set yet I could not use and I have 5 sets so far.

The next step will be to install the blades, level the swash and stick a V4 stock tail on it to dial everything in. Then the Hunter body.

Hey guys, too windy here to fly outside.Ive been flying the Micropter around the Batcave(thats what my sons freinds call my room). Its a pretty small room with lots of stuff to run into.It flys well although it wont hover.I can fly a complete battery cycle without wrecking. And for a 2 channel I have complete control, not like the ones that you try to steer and they just go wherever they want.Im gonna check out some stores tonight for another indoor microheli.
