I've got to get the 1/72 torpedo launcher and weapons past prototype stage and well into pre-production form before I can make another move on the I-53 bow. About 30 days to get that work out of the way, then another 10 days to get the I-53 GRP bows up to production status.

torpedos

Hi Dave,

Are the torpedos just for the gato or will then suit the I-20 when/if it is released. What sort of modifications are required? Is it just a matter on a different base plate?

David,
I hope your shooting video. I just found the tape you did for the six shooter Alfa and I've watched it three times this week. Great stuff!

I see the first "official" review of Lindberg's I-53 was released today on Fine Scale Modeler's website:

http://www.finescale.com/fsm/default.aspx?c=wb&id=2

You need to be a subscriber to read the review but it looks as though its everything we've been saying for the past few months & what David pointed out at the beginning of this thread.
