BTW this is one of the rare thread where people didn't moan or complain much ![]() One way or another - I think I've picked one of the best of a 425mm size blade rc helicopter kits!

I've logged 120 flights in the past flying season. For me that is a lot! But now I'm not flying much. Below 40F I'm not comfortable flying helis.

Hi, some advices please.
I am replacing 15T pinion to 16T now. And, I wonder if the front belt guide is better to be placed at the back spot. Using 15T, the front belt guide was at the front position. Since 16T pinion is bigger, would it be better to put the guide at the back...??? Thanks. |

Well I'm back again with a Protos. After selling of my first one and flying the previous season with a Logo 500, I've bought myself a used CFK Protos for flybarless with mini V-bar.
Any of you have some experience with the mini V bar, to share with me ? I'm also looking at a scale fuselage especially the Magnum MD 500D from RC aerodyne. Will it be possible to build the Protos in one of these fuselages ? Thanx for your replies |

I am using the Mini-V on the plastic frame Protos.
Here are a few notes.. *Grab the vbar file from msheli.com *Channels 2&3 will be reversed in the software (piro optimization might work better reversed because of this) *You might need to strap your mini-v down tight to prevent tail-wag *Be careful of binding at full negative collective and full left/right aileron as the servo arm will hit the frame Also, I highly recommend the MSH FBL head conversion kit. |
