Gonna be away next Saturday but will be starting holidays after that (for just a week) so hope to be able to get in a little bit of flying if the winds ok.

Anyway the new 'big project' (once its eventually finished) aint gonna be affected by a little bit of wind!

Typical. The wind looked like it was going to stay nice and low from Wednesday onwards so I figured I'd use some annual leave and do some stuff around the house (well thats what I said to the missus) as well as go flying a few times. I put my leave in today and then looked at Seabreeze again and what do you know its all turned to poo till the weekend :P

Well..speaking of weather,it was great at 0800 this morning at Hartfield park.
Only flew twice,2 planes, the Corsair of cause ..and also got to maiden my extra260 only for 5mins cause the wind had already kicked in,an with my 1st flight nerves and about5 attempts at landing,it was all over before I knew it.
arwell there's always 2morrow.
Cheers
Jeff

Hey 1st timer, your not missing a wheel off one of your birds at the moment are you?

I was at Hartfield Park this morning just putting a pack through my Yak55 to test out some changes I've made and when I was walking back to the car I spotted a wheel in the grass.

Anyways, just thought I'd say g'day and hope to see you down there again in better conditions! Man that wind was tricky today!

Nice video and flying Gavin.

Was that a flycam you were using?

Looked good.

Dissapointed I missed out on flying on Sunday due a wedding but managed to squeeze in a session mid week.

Indoor Flying

Just abit of an update on indoor for the next week or so.

Firstly its on again at Lumen Christi College this Thursday night (19/11/09) starting at 8pm.

However we've also booked a new session next Tuesday (24/11/09) at the Melville SHS Gym (commencing at 8pm).

I was there a week or so ago for my sons graduation and thought 'hey this gym would be good for indoor'. Then mind went back to sons graduation

Anyway the principal is kindly allowing us to try the gym out on the 24th (under PIF) so come along!

If it works out, we are going to put a permanent booking in for the third Tuesday of every month (commencing Feb 2010).

Just a reminder though; if you want to fly you will need to be a member of a MAAA covered club or join PIF on the night (which will cost you about $100).

That is great news Goody.
The indoor scene is getting stronger by the month which is awesome to see.
See you all there!
