Since this is Aerotow West, I'm looking for input to next years Aerotow events in the Pacific NW. Will the usuall events happen again next year? When will a schedule be hashed out? I'm still thinking of having a new event at the WRAF field in Wenatchee as it looks like we may have some new tugs amongst our midst.

David,
We will be bringing our new Porter tug to at least one WA event. Might as well make it yours!

Good luck with Pre planning Dave.

I tried on year to "Help" and get things moving along.
Pfffftt !

Just have some patience and things will emerge.

Oh the up side: I've decided to NOT radically move my date and stick with
our original mid August thinking.

Mission 2010

David, if I had to guess now I would anticipate that we will again make Mission early August....in the case of 2010, August 6-8. Clearly not definite but you could use it for planning purposes.

Clear!

The 3W 106 runs beautifully! Transtions very smoothly and has gobs of thrust!
We have virtually everything for the tug, in the shop. Etienne says 'Any day now,...

Where's my Pilatus!?

Well, it's been just over a month now since I ordered the Pilatus. Tomorrow it will be time for my weekly call to Etienne to check on it's status!

Ha Ha! Just translated it on babblefish.com. Len, you paraphrased it. But that is what it really means!

Len loves it when I talk nasty to him in French.

The Pilatus is a seriously excellent tug. It's even better when your friend buys it, maintains it, and never hesitates to offer a tow.

I hope your friend in Quebec gets it to you soon. Let us know when we should make the road trip to Oregon!

gee Rocketman, do you think I would mislead you? I don't speak many languages but I do know most of the dirty words.

I'll remember that, Len!

SPasierb,
Obviously, Len has been a real inspiration and a big help with our(hypothetical)Pilatus project. Any friend of his, is a friend of ours! We would like to meet all of you from the East in person! In the future, an "East meets West" super tow event should be seriously considered!

If Icare cannot come through for us, I may look into getting the Porter from TopModel themselves..
