Who lives near Elmira, New York?
I am thinking about modifying my 1/3 scale Bowlus Super Albatross to the Kelsey version. It had the stab mounted on top of the boom with a conventional elevator. Even on the full size Super Albatross and the Baby Albatross' this was often done because of pitch sensitivity problems.
The Kelsy BSA is at the Harris Hill Soaring Museum. It may be still in storage but if I could pull some strings to get someone in there to take pictures it would be way cool. I live in California so going there personally right now isn't doable Anybody interested? John |
